Expecting Success: Excellence in Cardiac Care seeks to improve the quality of health care provided to minority residents of New Jersey
New Jersey Health Initiatives (NJHI) Expecting Success: Excellence in Cardiac Care seeks to improve the quality of health care provided to minority residents of New Jersey by focusing on the care provided to inpatients diagnosed with heart failure.
The programs four goals are to:

improve cardiac care for African Americans and Latinos in New Jersey;
*
develop effective and replicable quality-improvement strategies, models and
resources;
*
encourage the spread of such strategies and models to additional clinical areas; and
*
disseminate relevant lessons to policy and provider audiences.
