PRESOLICITATION NOTICE
Project #558-318 Expand Parking Garage Building # 33
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Durham, NC has a requirement for a contractor to prepare a site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing materials, and furnish labor, equipment and materials to perform work for the project to Expand Parking Garage Building # 33 for the Durham Department of VA Medical Center (VAMC), 508 Fulton Street, Durham NC 27705.
Estimated construction magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
NAICS CODE: 236220 Size Standard: $36.5 Million
The work includes site preparation for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing materials from the project location.
Project shall include phased work requiring coordination of the work to lessen impact to the medical center.
Work shall be in accordance with contract specifications and drawings.
The period of performance is 240 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed.

All construction must comply with applicable codes, VA policy/standards, and the terms of this contract. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Subpart 15. This project is being solicited as a TOTAL 100 % SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE (SDVOSB).
Solicitation material will be available on/about June 28, 2019. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation.

Any offeror not CVE or SAM verified at time of proposal submittal will be disqualified and proposal will be rejected.
