Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) seeks a qualified team to design and develop an online technical and financial analysis tool for the Existing Building Renewal (EBR) initiative. In the next phases of the EBR initiative, NEEA and its market partners will deploy the Tool for leverage against market barriers to the deep energy retrofit of commercial office buildings. The Tool is conceived as an interactive, web-based resource for assessing deep energy retrofit project opportunities, developing a project scope, illustrating the value created by launching an Existing Building Renewal, and enabling decisions needed to plan and implement EBR projects.
NEEA is seeking proposals from contractors with expertise in web design and development, and software programming. The selected contractor will lead the NEEA team through the final specification and design of the EBR Tool, leveraging initiative development to-date, and recommend best practices for the Tool's design, function, and usability. Upon approval of the final Tool design, the selected contractor will develop the EBR Tool and ensure functionality prior to launch for NEEA's market test phase, expected in 4th quarter of 2014.
