Executive Search Firm
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is being issued by the University to invite
qualified executive search firms to submit proposals to serve as a consultant in the search for a
Director of Development for the College of Arts and Sciences. The successful candidate will be
responsible for the oversight of all development programs in the College.
The goal of this project is for the Consultant to assist the Dean and The Office of Development joint
Search Committee (hereafter, “Committee”) in hiring the best-qualified individual. The Consultant
will work closely with the Committee to develop and assist in the appropriate timely process by:
Finalizing, in consultation with the Committee, a position description outlining the
responsibilities, expectations and desirable qualifications for this position.
Identifying and recruiting qualified individuals for this position.
Jointly assisting in the evaluation of applicants.
Performing appropriate and relevant reference checks as requested.
Meeting with the Committee and other relevant University officials as appropriate throughout
the process.
