Excavating, Aggregate
The Invitation For Bid is intended to provide for the establishment of a Contract(s) to furnish Aggregate and Excavating Services to the Park and Wildlife Area.
PERIOD OF CONTRACT: Date of Award through March 31, 2015.
Equipment to be provided is as follows:
Motor Grader, 12 foot blade minimum 90 HP minimum.
Track Loader, 2.0 yard bucket minimum. 130 HP minimum.
Scraper/Loader, 11 yard minimum. 140 HP minimum.
Dozer, D-6 or larger minimum 8 foot blade. 130 HP minimum.
Rubber Tire Hi Loader, 3 yard. 165 HP minimum.
Backhoe Loader, 22 foot reach yard hoe, 1 yard bucket. 100 HP minimum.
Track Hoe, minimum 2 foot hoe, wide tracks high clearance. 100 HP minimum.
Dump Truck, twin screw, 12 yard. 225 HP minimum.
Tractor trailer large enough to haul Department owned road grader, dozer, etc.
Aggregate Specifications:
Road Gravel:CMX 400 gradation or better (Pit Run)
Road Bed MaterialRock-clay mix, no less than 50% rock, Pea gravel or larger.
Crushed LimestoneAB-3 as specified in the KDOT Specifications 1990 Edition.
