Evaluation of Migrant Education Program
The successful bidder will conduct an annual evaluation of the Illinois Migrant Education Program consistent with the requirements stipulated in the U.S. Department of Education Non-Regulatory Guidance for Title I, Part C Education of Migratory Children (October 23, 2003) (http://www.ed.gov/programs/mep/mepguidance2003.doc) and the Illinois Migrant Education Program Service Delivery Plan (http://www.isbe.net/bilingual/pdfs/migrant_service_plan.pdf ). The evaluation will focus on two program cycles, summer programs and fall/regular year programs. The successful bidder will submit a written evaluation report detailing the evaluation process, findings and implications for future program plans to the Illinois State Board of Education. The report for the 2008-09 school year (including the summer program ending August 31, 2009) will be submitted no later than December 31, 2009.
