PGW's current Metro Ethernet communications network is based on Verizon TLS
(Transparent LAN Services) circuits consisting of 9 locations with 10 network links. The
Montgomery (HQ) location has a backup link.
PGW is requesting proposals for a 4 year contract or a 2 year contract with the option to
renew for two additional 1 year extensions to provide high speed connectivity services
between PGW locations. The Metro Ethernet services must be robust and cost effective and
allow PGW to meet its wide area networking objectives and goals
