Equipment Maintenance
This is a Sources Sought Notice as defined in FAR 15.201 (e). This is NOT a solicitation for proposals or quotations.
The purpose of this notice is for market research purposes to gain knowledge of qualified sources in order to determine an acquisition strategy.
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) is requesting information to determine if there is any Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Business or other Open Market Source that can provide Equipment Maintenance Service for the Siemens Dimension EXL Chemistry Analyzer and Siemens Advia Centaur CP Immunology Analyzer to the VA Manila Regional Office and Outpatient Clinic located at 1501 Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City, Philippines.
The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 334510 Electro-medical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing with size standard of $20.5M.
STATEMENT OF WORK
The Contractor shall furnish parts, tools, materials, transportation and supervision in order to provide comprehensive equipment maintenance and emergency repair service for the Advia Centaur CP Immunology Analyzer and Dimension EXL Chemistry Analyzer.
Contractor shall provide maintenance and repair service, which may consist of lubricating, cleaning, calibrating, functional testing, replacing parts, and maintaining the equipment, including all intervening calls necessary between regular services. Contractor shall furnish all required parts, with the exception of work station and third party peripherals.
Contractor shall ensure that the equipment functions in conformance with the equipment manufacturer s technical performance specifications.
Qualified parties who are authorized service providers for Siemens equipment maintenance in the Philippines are invited to respond. Responses shall include company name, address, point of contact, phone/fax numbers, e-mail address and DUNS number. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or make an award, nor does the notice restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. A response to this Sources Sought Notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidder s list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Interested offerors must respond to the solicitation, if issued, in addition to responding to this Sources Sought Notice.
