3 separate requirements for Japan in total. The other solicitation numbers are N0040619Q0013 and N0040619Q0014.

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound is preparing a solicitation for three separate firm fixed priced contracts to provide equipment maintenance support for three facilities in Japan. The following is a summary of the service requirement:

The Contractor shall provide onsite PM of back-shop equipment, according to the original equipment manufacturersb (OEM) standards, at the location. Such maintenance shall be performed bi-annually (every six months). The Contractorbs firm fixed price for bi-annual PM support shall include all necessary labor, travel, parts, consumable materials, tools, test equipment, personal protective equipment and hazardous waste disposal.
In addition to bi-annual PMs, the government may also require trouble calls and repair of the back-shop equipment. The following general tasks are included in the scope of this requirement:

1)    Perform PM to back-shop equipment every six months.

2)    Provide all labor, travel, parts, consumable materials, tools, test equipment, personal protective equipment and hazardous waste disposal required for performing back-shop equipment PM.

3)    Provide back-shop equipment PM reports as required by this PWS.

4)    Respond to FRCWP checks for trouble call capability for broken or malfunctioning back-shop equipment.

5)    Perform trouble calls for broken or malfunctioning back-shop equipment.

6)    Provide all labor, travel, parts, consumable materials, tools, test equipment, personal protective equipment and hazardous waste disposal required for performing back-shop equipment troubleshooting.

7)    Provide back-shop equipment trouble call reports as required by this PWS.

8)    Respond to FRCWP capability checks for repairing broken or malfunctioning back-shop equipment.

9)    Perform repairs on broken or malfunctioning back-shop equipment.

10)    Provide all labor, travel, parts, consumable materials, tools, test equipment, personal protective equipment and hazardous waste disposal required for performing back-shop equipment repairs.

11)    Provide warranty service for back-shop equipment repairs.

The base period of performance will begin on 01 January 2019 and end one year later. There will also be 4 option years on each of the 3 requirements.

The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine whether or not the requirement can be fulfilled by any small business concerns.

This will be a lowest price technically acceptable selection. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available on the NECO website November 2018 and will remain open for approximately 20-30 days.


The following information is requested of all interested small business parties in order to determine whether enough capable small businesses exist to set the requirement aside for small business concerns:
