NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of New Smyrna Beach (City) is soliciting
Statements of Qualifications to retain up to three (3) qualified environmental contractor firms to
provide environmental site assessment and characterization activities and related services on a
continuing contract basis for the City under its Brownfields Redevelopment Program. The area
within which assessment and characterization activities will be primarily conducted is the Citys
designated Florida Brownfield Area, (Map Attached, Exhibit 1). This solicitation shall be part of
the Consultant Competitive Negotiations Act process as mandated in Section 287.055, Florida
Statutes and the City of New Smyrna Beach Purchasing Policy.
