Enterprise Hosting Managed Services
The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to establish a managed service that provides BEA secure Windows server and storage provisioning, management, maintenance, and data recovery capabilities for BEA data and applications. The end state objective is for the Subcontractor to provide and manage as many of BEA enterprise Windows servers as possible. It is expected this shall be accomplished by:
· The Subcontractor shall analyze BEA's Windows server infrastructure to determine which servers are candidates for migrating to the Subcontractor's off-premise hosting environment.
· From the analysis, the Subcontractor shall provide a plan for the migration of applications and data to the Subcontractor's hosting environment.
· Upon approval, the Subcontractor shall execute the plan to migrate applications and data to the Subcontractor's hosting environment with the goal of reducing as many of BEA servers as possible and optimizing the servers.
