Department of Defense Inspector General (DODIG), Facilities and Space Management Division (FSD) requires services and support for the installation, relocation, reconfigure, storage, repair and maintenance, and moving of furniture for the Mark Center and all 60 field sites worldwide. Review attached Performance Work Statement and facility listing for overview of requirement objectives. This Request for Information (RFI) is being used as a market research tool to identify businesses interested in being considered for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to fulfill future anticipated repetitive needs with a Federal Supply Class Code (FSC) 7110. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 337215.

This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, DODIG is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Submissions will not be returned. Small Businesses having the capabilities to perform the tasking below are encouraged to reply to this RFI. Failure to respond to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If an RFP is issued, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fbo.gov. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government.


Interested parties must respond no later than 4:00PM EST January 27, 2017 with a capability statement that addresses the required services outlined in the PWS (Attachment 1).


Attachment 2 represents a list of all the locations where furniture and the services outlined in the PWS may be needed.


Attachment 3 represents a list of all the brands of furniture currently in use by DoDIG.
