Information Update 08/01/2019:
PMW 160 Enhanced Piers Bandwidth Solution will be participating in the upcoming IWRP Quarterly Industry Day on August 14th in Fredericksburg, VA. Please see the IWRP OTA website for more information on joining the Consortium and registering for the event: https://www.theiwrp.org.
Summary of Problem Statement: The Government has interest in "Pier Connectivity as a Service" (PCAS) to support the harsh maritime environment and dynamic nature of Fleet in-port connectivity. The goal is to provide bandwidth "on demand" to ships and submarines in port from the ship's organic network to the local shore routing point of presence/servicing Network Operations Center (NOC) located at multiple Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Stations (NCTAMS), permitting access to the DoD Global Information Grid. The Government has interest in improving how transport services are delivered, specifically what technology base and techniques are applied to support service delivery, and what recurring sustainment structures can be provided to allow an industry provider to provide services that are currently being provided by the Government.
We look forward to seeing you at this event. ***********************************
