Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is conducting market research and seeking input on its upcoming requirement for engineering and technical support services for advanced propuslors and standard propellers in support of NSWCCD Codes 8070, 6100, and 7200.  These support services are needed for the design, development, manufacturing, installation and inspection of advanced propuslors and standard Navy propellers.  It is intended that this requirement will be fulfilled under SeaPort-e Multiple Award Contract vehicle providing fair opportunity to all Zone 2 contract holders on an unrestrictive basis.  Attached are the draft Section L and M and the Statement of Work for your review and comment.  The Government requests that interested SeaPort-e Zone 2 contract holders provide the following:

•·        A white paper discussing:

•o   Your firm's capabilities in meeting the requirements

•o   Any barriers to entry  and any recommendations on how to reduce them (i.e. site visit/industry day, additional information)

•·        Any comments or recommendations on the draft Statement of Work and Section L and M. Track changes and comments on a copy of the draft documentation are acceptable.  


Interested parties may submit its white paper and any track changes or comments on the draft documentation to the Contracting Officer, Michael Peduto, and Contract Specialist, Carolyn O. Johnson-Lawrence via email to michael.peduto@navy.mil and carolyn.johnson@navy.mil by 18:00 PM EST on Monday, 27 February 2017.
