The purpose of this announcement is to provide an update to the previously announced requirement, Center Operations Division Engineering and Technical Support Market Survey, announced under DTFACT-16-R-00046. In accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 22.214.171.124.1, the FAA conducted a market survey on April 15, 2016. The purpose of the market survey was to determine if adequate competition existed amongst Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Based on the results of the market survey, the FAA will proceed with a total SDVOSB set-aside competition.
In an effort to facilitate planning for vendors interested in this procurement, the FAA anticipates SIR Release via FAACO for February 2017, however this date is subject to change.
This is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or Request for Proposal (RFP) therefore the FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA is not liable for any costs associated with the preparing of a response to this announcement.
