Request for Information

The USTRANSCOM Program Executive Office (PEO) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify existing contracts open to DoD activities to support our requirement for information technology engineering services to be performed locally at Scott AFB, IL.  Services performed would be those similar to those provided under a Science, Engineering, and Technical Assistance (SETA) or FAR 37 Advisory and Assistance Services contract.  Services would include high-level engineering support working closely with the Government in developing IT architectural solutions for complex IT systems.  The result of this market research may contribute to determining our method of procurement.  The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code(s) assigned to this requirement could be 541512 or 541330.  The scope of this effort is expected to roughly be 5-20 full-time equivalents.

THERE IS NO SOLICITATION. This request is to identify available contracts for engineering services supporting information technology development and sustainment and DOES NOT constitute a request for proposals.  Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary.  The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.

If your organization has the potential to perform these services locally at Scott AFB, IL on an active contract (e.g. IDIQ, BPA, A&AS,...), please provide the following information:

•1)  Company name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and company's point of contact information; and

•2)  Contract number (IDIQ, BPA,...) of contract capable of providing engineering services to USTRANSCOM PEO; name and address of agency that owns the contract; periods of performance remaining on the subject contract; and contracting officer contact information.

The government will evaluate market information to ascertain existing contract vehicles and vendor potential market capacity to 1) provide services consistent in scope and scale anticipated and 2) provide services at Scott AFB, IL under a performance based service acquisition task order contract.

Submission Instructions: Interested parties with information on contracts that may be available to support our engineering support requirement are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice.  All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to william.a.schleckser.civ@mail.mil.
