8. Description: The B-2 Fuel Vent Control Valve consists of dual five-inch diameter butterfly valves. Each valve is independently controlled by a transducer/controller/motor combination. When the valve is commanded, each controller sets the vane angle of the valve it controls, independently of the other control unit. The two independent differential pressure transducers, share a common pressure port in the top of the valve. The other port is remote from the valve and extends from the valve to the fuel surge tank. Each vane in the valve is controlled by a separate actuator and controller circuit board. Power is supplied by two independent sources and the vent control valve operates on 28 VDC. It maintains pressures at 5.5 to 6.0 psi positive and 0.7 to 1.2 psi negative.
