Engineering Services for HVAC System Replacement

The City of Garland invites the submittal of responses to the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for professional consulting services for engineering and construction oversight for the replacement of HVAC system at the Garland City Hall. Services include all phases of engineering from design and construction through project close out. The chosen Firm will be required to prepare detailed design and construction documents for the project and coordinate with the City of Garland during a competitive bidding process. The City Hall of Garland is an existing functioning facility with operations that must be disrupted as little as possible by construction activities. HVAC replacement must be carefully engineered and coordinated with the City of Garland staff and the installation contractor to minimize disruption of existing facility operations. A major goal of this project is to improve the energy efficiency of this facility by replacing the HVAC system.
The selected Consultant Firm will not be eligible to submit a bid for the construction and installation of this HVAC system.
