Engineering Services for Citys Sanitary Sewer System
The City requests proposals from firms interested in providing
engineering services for the Citys sanitary sewer system flow assessment study and follow-up planning
reports. The prime consultant responding to this RFP shall be a registered professional.
The City seeks qualified engineering firms for three subprojects. The first subproject includes flow
monitoring, measurements and modeling of the Citys sewer system. Required deliverables include a) dry
and wet weather flows for all City sub-basins, b) hydraulic modeling to determine system inefficiencies; c)
identification of inflow sources to the sewer system; and d) a final report. The second subproject is the
preparation of multi-year capital facilities program implementation plan that lists all short-term and longterm
construction projects and improvements to the existing sewer system. This plan shall include a
timeline and an estimated budget for each construction project. The third subproject is for additional
engineering and other services related to the operation and maintenance of the Citys sewer collection
system.
