The Naval Air Systems Command, Direct Attack Weapons (PMA-201), intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) modification to Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Archbald, PA, for the acquisition of engineering production support on contract N00019-14-D-0008. The engineering production support includes the procurement of technical data which is needed in order to integrate ELGTR into the F/A-18 platform and the Navy Marine Corps Weapon Danger Zone (WDZ) tool.  Additionally, the modification will include the procurement of 6-Degrees of Freedom (6-DOF) work station with a graphical user interface.  

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. Requests for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: Lockheed Martin is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer of the ELGTR.  Lockheed Martin has the unique knowledge, experience, tooling, facilities, manufacturing techniques and technical data required to provide these supplies within the required timeframe.  There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract modification for the effort described above.
