Energy Management System
Sealed bids for an Energy Management System for High School No.1, 10600 Block of Staples Mill Road, will
be received in person or via special courier service in the Purchasing Office, Department of General
Services, County of Henrico, North Run Office Park, 1590 E. Parham Road, Henrico, VA 23228-2360, or
through regular mail by U. S. Postal Service, P. O. Box 90775, Henrico, VA 23273-0775, until, but no later
than 2:00 p.m., local prevailing time, December 18, 2008. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at
2:00 p.m., December 19, 2008 at the same location. Bidders shall be licensed contractors in the
Commonwealth of Virginia in accordance with Chapter 11 of Title 54.1 of the Code of Virginia, as amended.
Beginning on November 24, 2008, Bid Documents consisting of Contract Drawings and Project Manuals may
be obtained by submitting request and payment of $200.00 (non-refundable) payable to Henrico County Public
Schools, per set from Mahesh Kumar, Department Of Construction and Maintenance, 406 Dabbs House Road,
Henrico, Virginia, 23223, telephone (804) 652-3874. Provide a separate payment of $15.00 (non-refundable)
per set if shipping is required. No shipping fee will apply if Bid Documents are picked up by Bidder. Only
complete sets of Bid Documents will be issued. Cost includes first-class postage or equivalent only.
