Energy Efficiency Appliance Rebate Program for the Stimulus Grant Program
The State Energy Conservation Office (SECO) of the Comptroller of Public Accounts (Comptroller) invites proposals for a rebate program implementation contractor for its upcoming Energy Efficiency Appliance Rebate Program (Program). The Program implementation contractor awarded the contract (Successful Respondent) is to provide a streamlined, auditable, accurate and simple consumer rebate program with all the support tools (online, phone, email, and print) to assist consumers in understanding the opportunity, process rebate submissions, answer questions, generate rebate payment and help manage consumer and retailer expectations.
The Comptroller has been awarded State Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program (SEEARP) American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Funding Opportunity Number DE-FOA-0000119, in the amount of $23,341,000, most of which will be for the State of Texas to provide rebates to consumers who purchase new ENERGY STAR qualified residential appliances.
