Endoscope image server hardware
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers in Asheville, NC, Durham, NC, Salisbury, NC, Hampton, VA, and the Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic in Greenville, NC have a requirement for Olympus Endoworks hardware and software. The hardware and software must interface with the centers' EVIS EXERA III video processors, record images and videos during procedures, and transfer the data files to electronic patient files on the VA network. Delivery must be completed on or before 9/30/2014.
The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the hardware and software.
The medical centers intend to award contracts to Olympus for these products using sole source procurement methods due to the proprietary nature of the hardware and software being purchased. A solicitation will not be posted to www.fbo.gov. The anticipated date of award is June 30, 2014.
