Employee Assistance Program for the County

The County is soliciting proposals from a qualified organization(s) to provide an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The program will be available to all County employees and their family members and will offer assistance to help employees overcome difficult situations and remedy personal issues. The program will include assessments and referrals to counselors and/or professional consultants, training, printed and online resources, and administrative services. At the time this Request for Proposals (RFP) was released, the number of County employees was 4,284.
The County of Monterey is located on the Central Coast of California, approximately 120 miles south of San Francisco. County offices are scattered throughout Pajaro, Castroville, Royal Oaks, Salinas, Monterey, Carmel Valley, Marina, Seaside, Prunedale, Aromas, Soledad, King City and near Bradley, at the Lake San Antonio and Lake Nacimiento areas near the San Luis Obispo County border. The Contractor shall, on occasion, be required to provide training in all or some of these office locations.
