To provide an Employee Assistance Program that will assist the City in recruiting and retaining qualified, competent employees by offering prompt and confidential assessment, short-term consultation and/or referrals to employees and/or their family members who are experiencing personal problems, which if unresolved may lead to job performance problems, tardiness, absenteeism, illness, injury, disciplinary procedures, or even dismissal.
