Emergency Medical Teams and Strike Team
As the Department works to prepare and respond to disasters, advance planning for the augmentation of medical staff is an essential component to the states overall emergency preparedness and response.
The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified entities that provide Emergency Medical Teams as supplemental staffing to support an effective health and medical response to an emergency or disaster in the State of Louisiana. The teams will consist of Medical Treatment Teams and Strike Teams. Contractor shall provide trained medical and professional personnel, deployed at sites identified by the Department, for the purpose of assisting in the provision of medical and public health services. A Governor issued declaration of emergency shall exist at the time that the Department may activate the deployment provision of the contract.
