Emergency Medical Service Vehicles
The successful proposer must:
1. Have supplied products for Governmental entities or Commercial customers of similar size and
complexity.
2. Have the ability to provide a chassis with a minimum three (3) year/36,000 mile warranty.
3. Be able to provide product, services, parts and manuals.
4. Provide four references for products and services provided in the past three years.
Several years ago the county started a program in which the ambulance boxes
were remounted onto new chassis in lieu purchasing new ambulances. This program has been very
successful and has resulted in considerable cost savings to the tax payer. It is the intent of the County to
continue this practice. In the future the boxes on these three ambulances will be put into the remount
project.
