Emergency MIS
The Departmeny proposes to undertake the following activities:
ability to create an Emergency Operations Centre wherever is most appropriate and applicable,
confirming the appropriateness of current operational processes,
upgrading the core emergency information management system for MCDEM,
deployment of supporting services for enhanced communications, sector liaison and development,
provision of audit capabilities across all core service functions, and
development of the infrastructure to support the new functions and secure mobile operations, including but not limited to:
oresilient data networks
oincreased forms of access to all required services
osecurity management designed to encompass all aspects of the MCDEM supporting technology environment
oassured capacity of component IT services
osystems management of component services.
