Emergency Department Research Study Services
Where would you go and what would you pay for a clinical research study that enrolls 10,000 people in six months from a geographically and demographically diverse segment of the US population? The answer is the National Alliance of Research Associates Programs (“NARAP”)! NARAP has enrolled more participants in clinical research studies than any other organization in the United States. For more than 20 years, under the direction of Dr. Keith Bradley, NARAP and its predecessor organizations have facilitated large scale, national, multi-center studies to increase the quality of health care delivery, especially in the areas of screening and prevention. Centered in the emergency departments of its Affiliates across the country, the National Alliance of Research Associates Programs, Inc. is a non-profit clinical research organization. NARAP’s activities utilize thousands of pre-health profession undergraduate college students volunteering as data collectors and facilitators of primary health care screening and prevention, providing the students enhanced clinical opportunities unique to the research setting while teaching the fundamentals of interacting with patients.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to introduce NARAP and explain our capabilities. If you are in the process of planning or executing clinical research for any purpose we invite you to contact us to discuss ways in which our research capabilities can assist in the execution of your study. NARAP’s research model could easily assist in developing information for strategic planning, proof-of-concept, marketing support, pre-phase, early phase, or post-phase research activities.
