Elevator Repair & 5 Yr Load Test
The contractor shall troubleshoot and repair the electric elevator at Montgomery Point Lock and Dam to return the elevator to an operable condition, capable of safely transporting personnel, and perform Periodic Inspection and Testing, including full 5-year load testing, in accordance with ASME A17.1-2007. In addition, prior to the completion of the work, the contractor shall inspect the elevator for any deficiencies that would prevent the elevator from incorporation into a service agreement. The contractor shall provide a detailed list of items requiring repair or replacement, including part names and/or numbers and quantities and/or amounts, in order for the elevator to be eligible for entry into a service contract.
