The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 has a requirement for Elevator Maintenance Services. Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment & supervision necessary to provide maintenance for the 29 elevators. This will include daily inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs and emergency callback services for all elevators. The solicitation shall be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5.
Place of Performance: The Elevator Maintenance Services will be to and from the following locations:
W. G. Bill Hefner VAMC, 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury, NC 28144
Period of Performance: Period of Performance for the resultant contract will be a one (1) year base period and four (4) one year option renewal periods, October 1, 2019 September 30, 2024 in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, and conditions and provisions of the contract solicitation.
Type of Set-Aside: This acquisition is a 100 % Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. The applicable NAICS is 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors 492110, with a size standard of $15.0 Million.
Contract Type: The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation.
A formal Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about July 19, 2019 via Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website via https://www.fbo.gov/.
All potential offerors are responsible for monitoring and downloading all documents including amendments at the FedBizOpps website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the following:
