Elevator Inspection, Maintenance & Repair
The Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District is seeking proposals from qualified contractors. The District has six (6) locations with one or more elevators and is seeking FIXED PRICE bids, to secure a five (5) year contract (one (1) year base with four (4) one (1) year options), to provide what the industry refers to as a full service maintenance contract, including regular monthly service, emergency call backs, and major repairs due to ordinary wear and tear. This IFB requires a monthly preventative maintenance schedule in which all materials and labor required to keep elevator equipment functioning to the original manufacturer's standards or to any local or State of California requirements. In order to visit all of the sites, the pre-bid conference will be broken down into two (2) sessions on two (2) different days The first conference will be held on June 7, 2010 beginning at 9 am at District's Central Maintenance Facility located at 10626 International Blvd., Oakland, CA. 94603,. The second conference will be held on June 9, 2010 beginning at 9 am at District's General Offices located at 1600 Franklin Street., Oakland, CA 94612, 2nd floor Board Room.
