Elevator Code Upgrade Phase II
You are invited to bid on a General Contract for Renovations to eight (8) elevators
for the Elevator Code Upgrades PHASE TWO and related activities.
The intent of this specification is to make provisions in all elevator spaces in PHASE 3 buildings to meet Firefighters Service Phase 1&2 requirements. As an alternate to
this project, provide pricing for the addition of rope grippers at each elevator to prevent
unintentional motion. All incidental work related to this installation, whether specifically defined
or implied that may be required shall be performed by the contactor and is included in the scope
of this work.
