Electronic Management System
This Request for Proposal ("RFP') sets out certain requirements of The Corporation of the City of Stratford ("The City") and constitutes an invitation for Vendors to submit a proposal addressing such requirements; as such requirements are set out in this RFP including but not limited to the provision of an electronic document management system ('EDMS') including the software, staff training, and implementation of the system. In
performing this work the successful firm will be working with staff, managers and Council. They will be handling document containing sensitive material and as such the vendor must act on the City's behalf to keep this information secure.
The principal objectives of the sourcing decision process of which this RFP is in part is to establish the best EDMS solution to meet the stated needs for the City. The solution will:
Maintain information in a safe, secure, selectively accessible manner with all the necessary controls;
Be scaleable to address a continued rollout across The City;
Be cost-effective;
Provide flexibility to react to changes in business requirements.
