Electronic Health Information System (e-HIS)
SERVICES AND TASKS REQUIRED
The objectives of this potential activity is to support the FMOH in their modernization of their HIS. The key tasks are summarized into the four objectives listed below:
➢ Objective 1: Support Information Technology Systems and Data Repository: Under this objective the contractor will support the digitalization, integration and scale-up of priority health information systems at all levels (eHIS).
➢ Objective 2: Build a Culture of Data Use: The contractor will work with GoE to improve use of data to inform health planning, performance management, and delivery decisions across the health systems.
➢ Objective 3: Capacity Building and Governance: The contractor will work on effective transfer of knowledge and skills and to the GoE and building the MoH capacity to facilitate adoption by government agencies and implementing organizations of identified best practices in data use, data system architecture, and HIS governance.
➢ Objective 4: Stakeholders and Donors Collaboration: The contractor shall collaborate with other donors and various stakeholders within GoE to increase commitment by global stakeholders and MoH to align and invest in integrated health information systems and tools, strengthen data use, and health workforce capacity at the country level as key strategies necessary to achieve improved health outcomes.
