Electronic Bidding
Many elements comprise the pre-construction phase of a transportation construction project. Information and planning for the project must be completed, proposals and estimates prepared, reports generated, and bids advertised and collected for analysis and award. Once a project is defined, there is a long list of tasks that must be performed and documented before work can begin. To perform these tasks manually requires many hours of information gathering, calculation, data entry, and proposal preparation.
