The Sioux Falls contracting office, NCO 23 intends to solicit, compete, and award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for Electrical Power Distribution System Services. This will be a Firm-Fixed price contract with a Period of Performance beginning on or around 1 July 2017 through 30 September 2017. The acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Part 13, Simplified Procedures, and FAR Part 37, Service Contracting. The Request for Quote (RFQ) and all related attachments will be posted in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO), website, http://www.fedbizops.com on or around 30 May 2017. This will be 100% SDVOSB Set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 221122 with a size standard of 1,000 Emp.
Description of requirement: Provide maintenance, inspections, testing, and/or calibration of the Electrical Power Distribution System and all of its components at the VA Central Iowa, Des Moines, IA.
This contract will have 2 line items, one (1) for Maintenance, inspection, testing, and/or calibration of the Electrical Power Distribution System and all of its components at the Des Moines, VA Central Iowa Health Care System Medical Center. (1) Battery replacement to include removal, installation, and disposal of old batteries.
A description of the procedures to be used in awarding the contract are: Request for Quote with anticipated award date of on or around 1 July 2017.
The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained within the solicitation package. Once the solicitation is posted, it is imperative that interested parties review the website frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Contractors submitting a proposal must have a Cage Code and be registered in the System of Award management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dunn & Bradstreet.
