Electrical Maintenance & Service/Repair
Due to the size of the geographic area, the Department desires additional vendors to establish contracts to provide material, equipment and labor necessary for potential Electrical Repair or Electrical Maintenance work required during the contract period at various facilities & rest areas.
The Department reserves the right to make multiple awards to all vendors that are compliant with the requirements of the solicitation. Bidders that responded to the first solicitation opportunity need not respond to this opportunity.
Vendor shall be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to perform repairs.
Successful vendor(s) shall be required to furnish performance bonds covering 100% of the work to be performed for any work order valued at $5,000 or greater.
Successful vendor(s) shall be required to pay its' employees prevailing wages in accordance with the rates established for the county in which work is performed.
Successful vendor(s) shall participate in an apprenticeship and training program applicable to the work to be performed and that such program is sanctioned by the U.S. Department of Labor.
