U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) San Diego Field Office requires an electric wire-guided turret truck that is compatible with an existing Raymond Intelliguide wire guidance system. The truck shall be delivered and installed in a CBP vault. In addition, the existing turret truck that is being replaced shall be disassembled and crated on site.


This will be a firm-fixed-price contract. The anticipated period of performance is 16 weeks from the date of contract award.


A Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be issued on or about September 16, 2019. The RFQ will provide for full and open competition. It is anticipated that award will be made on or about September 26, 2019.


It is anticipated that quotes will be evaluated on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis.

The applicable NAICS code is 333924 -- Industrial Truck, Tractor, Trailer, and Stacker Machinery Manufacturing.


All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.


In order to be considered for award, vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Vendors not already registered in SAM are strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible.

9/17/19 Update:  A site visit is scheduled for Friday, September 20th at 10:00 a.m. PDT.  See Section V.7 of the RFQ.
