The Air Force Test Center (AFTC) is publicizing this Sources Sought Notice in an effort to gather industry information in regards to our Base Pest Control contract at Edwards Air Force Base, CA.
The Government is seeking to identify qualified, experienced, and interested Small Business firms, who can perform Pest Control work in accordance with our "Draft" Performance Work Statement (PWS) dated 16 October 2019.
Contractor(s) will be required to furnish all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, engineering and/or technical design and personnel necessary to manage and accomplish projects as described in the RFP, and in accordance with applicable federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations.
It is anticipated that the Base Pest Control contract will be a five year, Firm Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this effort is 561710, Exterminating and Pest Control Services, with a size standard of $12.0M.
Capability Statements shall be limited to no more than five pages and shall clearly state the following: Capability in Pest Control services, Hanta Virus Servicing, Mosquito Larvae control, Emergency Pest Control services, Termite Inspecting, West Nile Virus Sampling, and Pest Cleanup services.
In addition, provide/answer the following:
(1) Company name, address, point(s) of contact, title, telephone number, fax number, email address, Cage Code and DUNS number;
(2) Company's business size, to include number of employees;
(3) Company's socioeconomic status to include, but not limited to: 8(a), SDB, and WOSB.
THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposal (RFP); submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Any future solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov). Therefore, interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for the release of a solicitation package and/or any updates to include amendments.
Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged at this time, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
Submission Instructions: Information received will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. If your Small Business Firm has an interest in proposing on future requirements as described above, please prepare and submit a Capabilities Statement by 3:00 PM (PST) on 1 November 2019.
