Educational Outreach/Continuing Education Large Program Offerings
The University invites interested parties to submit Proposals for courses or programs of courses to be offered through the Educational Outreach/Continuing Education Program. Such courses will be not for University credit but may be for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) that provide skill-based training and learning in a professional or business field and/or industry (i.e., workforce applications, healthcare, paralegal, human resources, computer technology, public relations/media, etc.). Courses can be a single comprehensive/intensive program, part of a series of classes which lead to a certificate, stand-alone courses, or for personal enrichment. Performance tracking and assessment of each enrolled student shall be conducted throughout course or program, evaluating each student's progress toward the learning objectives of topics presented. The entity providing the courses shall furnish experienced and qualified instructors to teach each course offered. For online courses or certificate programs, the contractor must also provide a dedicated facilitator to support the student enrolled in the course or program and assist any potential students inquiring about the course, program, or curriculum. Some firms may offer, or may be required to provide additional services, such as: online financial assistance services; student registration, enrollment and scholastic reporting; tracking mechanisms of students' progress; the supply and delivery of required course materials (class textbooks, guides, etc.). Contractors are to facilitate course evaluation surveys at course completion and also share in marketing courses to potential students
