Edcuation News Site on Wordpress
The Hechinger Institute on Education and the Media has begun producing original journalism content on education issues under the Hechinger Report brand. The Institute has a long-term goal of building a custom, multi-functional web platform to distribute this content.
For the short-term, the Institute requires a simple and inexpensive news site built on Wordpress. http://www.niemanwatchdog.org, http://www.smartglobalist.com, http://e360.yale.edu are sites we wish to emulate.
A logo and color scheme is being developed separately. The navigation, functionality and structure will be nearly identical to the example sites. Several fully-designed pages will be required for a demonstration to potential funders on November 20, 2009. The site will be launched in January, 2010.
If you wish to receive the complete RFP document, please email Matt Bruderle at bruderle [at] tc.edu, with Wordpress RFP in the subject line, a four paragraph summary of your qualifications and experience with such work. Complete RFP will be sent by 6:00 pm Eastern on Thursday, September 24.
Proposals must itemize costs by requested functions and must be received by 9:00 am Eastern on Friday, October 2.
