Economic Development Strategy
The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to solicit proposals from qualified bidders for
preparation of an Economic Development Strategy for the State of Delaware
(Strategy). This Strategy will consist of accomplishing five specific project objectives
(identified in the Scope of Work) with an overall goal of identifying strategies that should
be undertaken within the State of Delaware in order to increase Delawares
competitiveness in the global economy.
Completion of the Assessment involves performance of necessary research, data
compilation, and analysis necessary for completion of the five project objectives outlined
in this Scope of Work, including all subparts. The vendor will prepare a written report on
the findings of the Assessment, which must focus on the five project objectives, and must
recommend strategies for increasing Delawares competitiveness in the global economy.
The vendor will also prepare a presentation of the findings in Microsoft PowerPoint
format, and present the findings and respond to questions regarding the Strategy at two
events or meetings. The time, location and participants at these events or meetings will
be determined by the Office.
