This project involves the earthwork and concrete for an interactive, fully
accessible playground. The earthwork involves MSD approved Rain Gardens with connecting piping based on the 2000 Maryland Stormwater Design Manual, Volume II and heavily contoured playground area for accessible sidewalks, playground equipment and learning centers. The concrete involves sloped retention wing walls for culvert openings, sidewalks, slabs contoured for rubberized surfaces and footings/piers for learning centers. Site will be
available beginning on May 29, 2012. Completion date is August 1, 2012
