Early Intervention Services/ Educational and Developmental Intervention Services
The purpose of this contract is to provide services to eligible infants, toddlers, children and family members enrolled in the Department of Defense (DoD) Dependent Schools (DoDDS) by providing Early Intervention Services (EIS) and Related Services (RS) under the Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS) program. EIS/RS services are required at Naval Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) located Outside of the Continental United States (OCONUS). Services shall be provided for active duty military personnel, their dependents, eligible DoD civilian employees, and other eligible beneficiaries designated by the Government. The requirement is for clinical medical EIS/RS which also include special education related to the medical care and needs of eligible infants and toddlers with disabilities (birth through 2 years, inclusive) and/or eligible children with disabilities (ages 3 through 21 years, inclusive) to the families under the Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS) program. Services are required at Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) in the Pacific and Atlantic Regions to include: U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa, Japan; U.S. Naval Hospital Yokosuka, Japan; Naval Hospital Guam; U.S. Naval Hospital Rota, Spain; U.S. Naval Hospital Naples, Italy; and U.S. Naval Hospital Sigonella, Italy and any associated branch clinics.
