Early Childhood Special Education: Child Find, Early Transitions, and Educational Placements Early Childhood Special Education: Child Find, Early Transitions, and Educational Placements
The Department is seeking proposals to work in conjunction with the Bureau to 1) promote Child Find for preschool aged children, including the transition of children from Family Centered Early Supports and Services to preschool special education, 2) improve the availability and quality of special educational environments for preschool children with disabilities, and 3) to support IEP teams with decision-making regarding educational environments and placement for children with disabilities ages 3-5 in the least restrictive environment.
