The purpose of this RFP is to seek a contractor to partner with the Development Corporation on site design and merchandise design as well as the shopper experience for the e-commerce site. The e-commerce site, http://puremichiganstore.org, will link out from michigan.org via a new browser window (the user experience should be seamless from a brand perspective), and will not share a michigan.org URL. The MEDC, as owner of the Pure Michigan mark, will continue to exercise control over the way the mark is used, including, but not limited to, the form in which it appears, the merchandise on which it appears, and the manner in which the merchandise is distributed and sold.

The RFP is designed to provide potential bidders with sufficient information to submit a proposal that meets the MEDC's minimum requirements, but the minimum requirements contained in this RFP are not intended to limit the proposal's content or exclude any information the bidder feels is relevant or essential to their bid.
