E-3 Aircraft Battery Charger
Duration of Contract Period: Five months estimated date of delivery.
The Government seeks a replacement battery charger for the exisiting charger, NSN:6130-01-539-5931. The Goverment plans a sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) non-commercial acquisition for six (6) chargers. The proposed replacement must fit in the current space of 5.0 inches high, 8.8 inches wide and 10.5 inches deep. It must provide output of 29.75 +/- 0.3 Volts at up to 60 Amps with charger input of 3 phase, 115 VAC,400 Hz.
Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15)(i), All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which will be considered by the agency; however the acquisition will be sole source. This notice does not commit the Government to a formal request for quotation and/or the purchase of the battery charger.
