ERP software implementation
Mandatory site meeting: August 8, 2007
The Rio Hondo Community College District ("District") is requesting proposals for an ERP
Implementation Project Manager ("PM") to assist Rio Hondo College in the planning, coordination
and organization of our ERP Software Implementation. The District ("RHCCD") main campus is
located in Whittier, California.
The District purchased the SunGard ERP system, which incorporates Banner's, student financial aid
and human resource modules. The project manager will work for the District not SunGard and must
be experienced with the California Community College system.
The contractor must understanding how colleges academic and administrative systems work and
how the new ERP technology best serve students, faculty and staff. A desirable attribute for the PM
position is a person who has worked with faculty, registrars, financial aid directors, CIO, etc. in a
California Community College Environment.
