EPF Basic Ordering Agreement
This is a Sole Source Synopsis announcement. A written solicitation will not be issued. Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a modification on a sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to Austal, USA (Austal). The purpose of this procurement is to establish a BOA to support the EPF Class ships. When ordered, the efforts include program management, advanced planning, capability studies and analysis, detail design, work item development, class engineering, onsite liaison, scheduling, participation in planning meetings, material procurement and kitting, and updating Ship Record Drawings (SRD). In addition, the BOA will allow for Post-Delivery test & trial support, shipboard alterations and installations, and emergent repairs to support operational commitments.
Austal is the only source designing and building the EPF Class Ships. As the building yard for this Class, Austal is the only source having the unique knowledge and expertise, including detailed knowledge of each ship's delivered configuration, deferred work, incomplete changes, and technical data to competently perform the planning, design and engineering functions to meet Government schedule requirements.
The intent of this notice is not to solicit competitive offers. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests.
Interested party's response to this Synopsis shall be limited to 3 pages and shall include the following information:
1. Party's name, address, point of contact, phone number, and email address.
2. Party's capability to meet the key requirements based on previous experience.
